Ann
Dental Hygienist
Ann is a dental hygienist at Ivory Dental Aesthetics, who received her education from Diablo Valley College. She has been working in dentistry since 1989 and has been with the practice since 2009. Though she hadn’t planned on this career path, working for her dad’s friend, Dr. Manuel Alvear, as a “rover” ultimately led her to become a dental hygienist. If she wasn’t working here, she would love to work in a lab and help cure disease.
Outside of the office, Ann likes to watch her daughter swim, hang out with family and friends, watch movies, walk her dog, Lala, travel, camp, paddle board, and fish.
JC
Dental Hygienist
JC has been working with Ivory Dental Aesthetics for over three years as a dental hygienist. She received her education from Diablo Valley College and has been working in dentistry for 40 years. Her responsibilities include x-rays, reviewing medical history, checking periodontal health, debriding and scaling teeth, and checking for issues with the teeth. She loves helping patients and got into the industry after someone suggested she look into it. If she wasn’t working here, she would probably be doing temp work in other offices.
JC’s hobbies include camping, traveling with her husband, walking their dog, reading, gardening, and going to New York to visit her granddaughter.
Becky
Office Manager
Becky has been an office manager with Ivory Dental Aesthetics for two years and received her education from Chabot College and The Wilton School. She has been working in dentistry for 34 years and her responsibilities include production scheduling, treatment planning, accounts receivable, processing claims, four-handed dentistry, team building, and claims disputing. She loves her team, her boss, and her patients, and if she wasn’t working here, she would probably be working as a personal trainer.
Outside of the office, she enjoys running, swimming, and volunteering with the Special Olympics, Coastal Cleanup, and Healing California.
