Porcelain Veneers

Made out of high-quality, tooth-colored porcelain, these dental veneers are ultra-thin shells that are cemented over the surface of your teeth. Some of the problems they may solve include:

  • Correcting enamel that has worn or become dulled over time
  • Fixing discoloration as a result of drinking tea, coffee, or soft drinks, smoking, certain medications, or a genetic predisposition
  • Uneven teeth from gnashing or general wear that can lead to malocclusion, or bite issues
  • Wear and tear such as chips, cracks, or an uneven appearance
  • Uneven spacing due to a patient’s genetics

Minimal Prep Veneers

Applied through a quicker process to make your teeth look more even, minimal prep veneers are less invasive than traditional veneers while still providing long lasting results. Some of the benefits of no-prep veneers include:

  • Improved appearance of discolored teeth by filling in gaps and covering up cracks or chips
  • Eliminating the need to grind up to 1/2 millimeter of tooth enamel, therefore, preserving the structure of your teeth
  • Easy installation since no tooth alterations need to be made

Full-Mouth Restoration

Full mouth restoration repairs chronic dental issues to improve your oral health and improve the appearance of your teeth. This procedure can include tooth restructuring as well as gum and jaw restoration. How the process is completed may vary depending on the following:

  • The amount of wear or damage to your teeth determines if prosthetics are needed
  • Unhealthy gum tissue or severe periodontal disease that needs curing
  • Necessary alignment for a weak or unhealthy bite through use of a bite reprogramming orthotic or a night guard
  • The proportions, size, color, and shape of your teeth

Esthetic Crown Lengthening

Sometimes, when we look at our smile, we can clearly see the aspects we want to fix. With esthetic crown lengthening, Dr. Patel and the talented team at Ivory Dental Aesthetics can address any concerns involving your teeth appearing unusually small compared to your full mouth. In order to fix this, we utilize an advanced piece of technology called the KB-1 chisel. The KB-1 chisel is useful in making smiles look less “gummy” by reducing the amount of gum tissue or even bone above a tooth, giving the appearance of a longer crown.

Gum Recontouring

At Ivory Dental Aesthetics, we use a KB1 chisel to expose more of a patient’s tooth under the gums without damaging the soft tissues during crown lengthening procedures. Crown lengthening can be used to fix a “gummy smile” that makes teeth look shorter than normal due to excess gum tissue partially covering the teeth. It can also be necessary when there isn’t enough exposed tooth to hold a dental crown.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding, also called cosmetic bonding, involves the addition of a tooth-colored resin to your teeth to improve the overall appearance. It’s pain-free, does not require anesthesia, and no permanent alterations are made to the structure of the natural tooth. It can be used to change the shape of the teeth, improve the appearance or repair teeth that are discolored, stained, chipped, or cracked, and to fill large gaps.

Tooth Recontouring

Tooth recontouring or tooth reshaping works by removing small amounts of tooth enamel to change the shape, length, and overall look of the tooth. It’s an effective method of correcting minor imperfections such as small chips, pointy or overly sharp teeth, to adjust the length of a patient’s teeth, to smooth out pits or grooves in tooth enamel, or to adjust uneven teeth.

Smile Whitening

KöR whitening KöR-Seal™ trays are designed to keep liquid out of the trays. In conjunction with KöR whitening gels, these trays provide six to ten hours of whitening. As a result, debris between a patient’s enamel rods are thoroughly cleansed which rejuvenates the enamel to provide additional aesthetic appeal and make your smile look brighter and more youthful.
